I just wanted to let everybody know that I've had a couple people ask me..."WTF Mate where's all your old archived posts?" Well Me being as smart as I am looked at it to and came up with the same conclusion...."there not there?!!!!" and soon after forgot about it. But something must be in the water tonight b/c I was able to fix it by republishing my entire site from my blog editor. So to everbodies delight every single post is now accessible....."YEAH...i GOT MAIL!!!!!!!"

On a more serious note: Today I was glad I had the opporutnity of having nothing to do during the middle of the day. This allowed me to watch one of the most intriguing/interesting Senate Investigative hearings ever (well at least during my politically interested lifetime minus "There's pubic hair on my Coke" scandal). Today Richard Clarke, former Anti-terrorism Czar, testified in front of the Sept 11 investigative commission. At one point during this session I felt as if I was watching a movie. It was at the point that this MSNBC article describes allegations that the timing and printing of his book had alternate motives...

"Clarke was ready for that challenge. "Let me talk about partisanship here, since you raised it," he said, noting that he registered as a Republican in 2000 and served President Ronald Reagan. "The White House has said that my book is an audition for a high-level position in the Kerry campaign," Clarke said. "So let me say here, as I am under oath, that I will not accept any position in the Kerry administration, should there be one."

When Clarke finished his answer, there was a long pause, and the gallery was silent. Lehman smiled slightly and nodded. He had no further questions."

This was the point that chills ran down my back. Love him or hate him, truth-sayer or nay-sayer, this guy knows how to play politics.
